Fall Soccer Program

Atlético Middlebury aims to develop youth soccer players with a passion for competitive play. Our goal is to provide a home for those players with a basic knowledge of the game who want to elevate their skills to the next level and compete among the area's top players. Atlético is a club team traveling throughout the region to participate in Vermont Soccer League fall and spring events.

Ages

Atlético Middlebury currently serves U6 through U12.

When

The Fall Season runs from September through October with the last games and practices held just before Halloween.

Where

All practices held on the Mary Hogan Athletic fields unless otherwise noted.

Practices

U6 Wolf Pups practice Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30.
U8 practice Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:30-6:45
U10 & U12 practice Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:30-7:00pm

Games

U6 are a developmental group with practices only.
U8, U10, U12 Participate in the VSA Leauge. Teams will play 6-7 games and at least one festival. Fall games are held on Sundays at the Tree Farm Soccer Complex in Essex Junction, VT.

Jerseys

Jerseys are provided with registration. Players are encouraged to keep their jerseys throughout their time with Atlético, trading in for larger sizes as needed. Additional club gear can be purchased at Soccer Post Burlington. Be sure to tell them you play for Atlético to get the club discount!

Extra Costs

Players will need to purchase black shorts and socks to complete their uniform for game days. Soccer cleats and shin guards (worn under their socks) are required for practice and games. Additional club swag is available through Soccerpost Burlington but is not required.

Is Atlético right for me?

At the youngest levels (U6 & U8) we look to welcome all young footballers and introduce them to the game we love. As they grow (U10 & U12) we aim to provide an environment for experienced players who show continued interest in the game and a desire for skill development and competitive play.

When & Where is practice?

Atlético teams practice primarily on the Mary Hogan Athletic fields. Some seasons we have had to expand to MUMS due to conflicts with the Rec dept. games.

Practices run 5:30-7:00 on Tuesdays & Thursdays for most ages (see Practice tab above for specifics)

How much is it and Where do I pay?

Registration fees are tiered for different age groups. The fee covers VSA league costs, Referee wages, Jersey costs, and other administrative expenses.
